Inertia Dynamics type FSB brakes are designed to decelerate or hold inertial loads when the voltage is turned off. These brakes can be mounted to a bulkhead or motor.

The FSB brakes are rated up to 100 Lb-in static torque, and fit motors up to 5.3″ OD.

Low-cost Tin-Can Stepper Motors from Nippon Pulse feature high torque and compact size October 14, 2017

The PF/PFC series tin-can stepping motors are conventional magnet-driven rotary stepper motors with a permanent magnet in their rotor core.   Rotating in proportion to the number of pulses sent to the motor, the stepper motor is frequency synchronized and can change speed depending on the frequency of the pulse signal.

Because of its high torque output and low profile construction, applications for tin-can stepper motors include, but are not limited to, printing, packaging, and medical devices.

PF/PFC series tin-can stepping motors are also available with optional gearheads offering increased torque in a small package.  Nippon Pulse geared tin-can stepping motors can achieve up to a 2500mN·m maximum torque.

Geared motors from Nippon Pulse are well-suited for fluid dispensing, pumps, valves and a host of other applications that require high torque and smoother motion.

SWM integrated steppers from Applied Motion Products Inc. are IP65 rated drive+motor units, fusing step motor and drive components into a single splash proof and dustproof device. This space-saving design eliminates wiring and saves on cost over conventional motor and drive solutions.

The SWM24 integrated steppers combine high torque NEMA 24 step motors with a sophisticated, 6.0 A/phase (peak-of-sine) step motor drive. Power to the drive, located at the rear of the motor, must be supplied by an external DC supply. Applied Motion offers compatible 24 and 48 volt DC power supplies for exactly this purpose.

The DMC-30012 Series is Galil’s latest generation single-axis motion controller. It uses a 32-bit RISC processor to provide higher speed than older models. The DMC-30012 features an internal 800-Watt brushless sine drive which minimizes space, cost and wiring .The motion controller operates stand-alone or can be networked to a PC via Ethernet.
